Abstract

The nature and complexity of societal problems invoke the need to craft responses, not from an insular and narrow-minded perspective, but from an open-minded perspectivethat is inclusive of a variety of thoughts and paradigms. This need to recast societal problems outside the traditional discipline boundaries and reach solutions based on a redefined understanding of complex situations saw the emergence of Transdisciplinarity. Transdisciplinarity aims to systematically and holistically focus on problem-solving while drawing on a variety of seemingly disparate disciplines and knowledges
